Caregiver of the Month – February 2023

Care at Home announces Donna as Caregiver of the Month for February 2023.

Donna, a PCA with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare field, has been named Caregiver of the Month for February 2023 by the Care at Home team. Her professional interests include being active with seniors through socializing, outdoor walks, menu planning, and playing board/card games. Her exceptional companionship skills have earned her the distinction of being a featured caregiver.

“From a very young age, I knew I wanted to dedicate my life to caring for others,” says Donna. “After completing my schooling, I began working for an organization that supports individuals with various disabilities. As a job coach, I assisted these individuals in finding employment and witnessed their growth and success firsthand.”

In addition, Donna has generously dedicated her time to caring for two foster children who she and her husband ultimately welcomed into their family through adoption. She feels incredibly fortunate for her life and takes great pride in supporting the elderly community.

“We love Donna’s passion and commitment to our home care clients,” explains Stephanie, Director of Care Coordination for Care at Home. “She consistently engages the people she cares for and genuinely loves seeing the joy on their faces as she supports them. Donna is caring and compassionate, and promotes positive energy. She’s an excellent example of the quality of caregivers on our team and we value having her as our February caregiver of the month.”
