Care at Home proudly announces Lynn as the Caregiver of the Month for August 2023. Lynn joined our team three years ago and dedicates her time in the field conducting spot checks and looking after our clients. She is an outstanding caregiver, skilled in caring for individuals with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and Parkinson’s, and she is highly respected by her colleagues.
Lynn’s journey in caregiving began early in life. She explains, “I chose to become a caregiver because I genuinely enjoy the one-on-one interactions with the people I serve in our community. It all started with helping my mother care for my grandparents, and I continued by looking after my own parents.”
Lynn takes great satisfaction in positively impacting the lives of the individuals she meets daily. She adds, “Being a caregiver is personally fulfilling, and I wouldn’t change my chosen career path for anything else.” Lynn recognizes the importance of allowing older adults to age safely in their own homes and how it enhances their quality of life.
