Care at Home announces Sherrie as Caregiver of the Month for April 2022.

Care at Home proudly announces Sherrie as Caregiver of the Month for April 2022. Sherrie attended Quinebaug College to become a certified nursing assistant and has been a licensed CNA for almost 20 years. She is a dedicated team member with a personality ideally suited for caregiving.

Sherrie has always loved helping people. “My mother was a nurse, so I witnessed her passion for the profession and compassion for the people, “ she said. “I presume she passed on to me that desire to help others. For that, I’m grateful.”

Sherrie is always up for listening to music, playing cards, or getting into a board game with her clients. More importantly, they like her caring personality and appreciate that she supports the activities they want to enjoy. Whether it is having a conversation about the weather or laughing at a funny situation, Sherrie loves to engage the people to who she provides caregiving services.

“Sherrie is not only a caregiver. She is compassionate and a friendly communicator,” said Summer Binkowski, Human Resources Director for Care at Home. “It is exactly that type of personality and approach to caregiving that has her loved by our clients. Because of professionals like Sherrie, we have evolved into the award-winning home care agency we are today.”
