Care at Home proudly announces Christian as Caregiver of the Month for August 2021. Christian has been part of our team for a year and is a member of the exclusive Hero Program. More important, her friendly approach and dedication are shining traits that brighten the lives of those she provides caregiving services to.
Christian started her caregiving journey four years ago when her grandmother was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. Her grandfather was also dealing with health issues and needed help caring for his wife. Christian stepped forward, moved in with them, and became a primary caregiver.
“My favorite part about being a caregiver is meeting all the amazing clients we have and learning about their lives,” said Christian. “I love talking with them and seeing the difference I can make in their day-to-day lives makes what I do worth it. I am grateful to be part of the Care at Home team where I can share my love for caregiving.”
Christian and her husband are new residents of Connecticut. During her time with Care at Home, she has taken the initiative to grow her home care skills while pitching in to pick up shifts. Christian is excited about the future and has ambitions of becoming a nurse.
