Meet the Team: Recruiter

Jessica is a skilled recruiter who recently joined the Care at Home team in July 2023. Her primary focus is sourcing caregivers in our home care territories. Her range of responsibilities includes screening applicants, conducting interviews, and assisting with the onboarding process. Jessica also plays an important role in caregiver retention strategies and the orientation programs for new recruits.

With over a decade of experience in the field, Jessica’s expertise spans various sectors, including home care agencies, skilled nursing facilities, and temporary staffing agencies throughout the Windham and New London counties. She also has a solid background in supporting human resources, adding to her professional adaptability.

Jessica’s professional approach centers on her proficiency in building rapport. She enjoys engaging with individuals, delving into their career trajectories, and providing guidance for their next steps.

Jessica resides in northeastern Connecticut with her husband, accompanied by two cats named Juju and Binx and a dog named Luna. She focuses on fitness during her leisure time, dividing workouts between the gym and home. She indulges in reading mystery and romance novels. And when not reading, she enjoys watching TV shows from the early 2000s or listening to pop culture podcasts.

Looking ahead, Jessica nurtures adventures beyond her professional career path. She envisions one day embarking on a 3-month European vacation and even participating in a fitness competition. Her aspirations also extend to owning and operating a cat café, a testament to her fondness for feline companions.
