Meet the Team: Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Michael assumed the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) for Care at Home in April 2022. In his capacity as COO, his primary responsibility is to collaborate with different teams and departments to propel strategic and expansion initiatives. Additionally, Michael is responsible for supervising various operational facets to guarantee that our agency delivers excellent services across the two-state area.

Michael has been forging a career in home care for over a decade, with executive leadership roles in companies operating in six state territories. He possesses a strong passion for expanding service areas through both acquisitions and de novo branches and is wholeheartedly committed to driving growth. Michael’s track record speaks for itself. He has successfully maintained and increased client and family satisfaction with services while also fostering partnerships with new referral sources to deliver collaborative care. Before venturing into home care, Michael spent eight years in the behavioral health sector.

Michael resides in central Connecticut along with his 16-year-old daughter and two rescue dogs named Cairo and Chevy. An interesting fact about Michael is that he earned a basketball scholarship to college and graduated as the fifth-highest scorer in the university’s history. Michael has a passion for boating and travel and wants to visit the Maldives to check it off his bucket list. He also aspires to establish a non-profit organization focused on rescuing dogs.
