Meet the Team: Care Coordinator

Kate is a former CNA serving as a Care Coordinator and Receptionist on the Care at Home Team. She joined the team in August of 2022 and focuses on caregiver scheduling and providing daily assistance to clients and caregivers. Kate’s receptionist responsibilities include fielding general inquiries and supporting the office, recruiting, and sales teams.

Kate began her caregiver journey as a floater on long-term care and rehabilitation units at a care facility in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. As a licensed CNA, she supported up to 20 residents on an average shift by providing services ranging from transportation to recreational activities. Kate often enjoyed long conversations with residents – sometimes over meals or during their walks on campus. She also dedicated her time to end-of-life care, serving as a support system for residents and families.

Kate lives in Connecticut with her boyfriend, son, and four cats: Poohlou, Shadow, Lucifer, and Smudge. She loves couponing in her spare time and is a self-proclaimed “Summer Girl” who enjoys country music, swimming, and four-wheel quading. Kate’s primary passion is being a mother, and she aspires to own a house on a farm in Connecticut one day.
