Jan Mallett, from Jan-YourGardenGURU, traveled with Care at Home to deliver these self-contained gardens to seniors along the shoreline in East Lyme, Niantic, Waterford, and Mystic. “It’s a complete joy to watch the smiles appear when they smell the fresh basil,” said Jan Mallett, Garden Business Coach for Jan-YourGardenGURU. “Their eyes light up as if old memories resurface with each scent. It is a sight to see!”
