Care at Home announces Patrice as Caregiver of the Month for March 2022.
Care at Home proudly announces Patrice as Caregiver of the Month for March 2022. Patrice is an experienced caregiver with 12 years of service in the community. A great deal of her experience comes from her work in hospice care and nursing homes. She also aspires to become a registered nurse in the future.
Patrice began her caregiver journey at a very young age. “Growing up in the Caribbean, I helped care for our elders,” she said. “It turned out that I was very good at it! And I realized the sense of fulfillment it gave me to do for others that cannot do for themselves.”
Patrice enjoys getting to know her clients. She is interested in discovering their likes and dislikes to serve them better. She engages them in conversation to reminisce about their life memories. Patrice also values the time spent with her clients on day trips or sightseeing in the community.
“We are fortunate to have caregivers like Patrice on our team,” said Dawn Lindelow, Business Manager for Care at Home. “It is important to recognize these outstanding individuals. They serve others in our community and do so with a compassion and commitment that truly defines why our agency excels at home care.”
