Care at Home announces Rachel as Caregiver of the Month for December 2021.
Care at Home proudly announced Rachel as Caregiver of the Month for December 2021. Rachel joined the Care at Home team earlier this year and is a member of the exclusive Hero Program. She is an exceptional caregiver who is admired by both team members and the clients she serves.
Caregiving has always been a part of Rachel’s life. “I became a caregiver because it is rewarding to care for others,” said Rachel. “I started by helping local elderly friends. Then I moved onto education programs for hospice and dementia care so I could make a difference for people living with chronic conditions.”
Rachel’s favorite thing to do is learn as much as she can about the lives of her clients. “I like discovering things they enjoyed in life and try to incorporate those activities into their care plan.” The people Rachel cares for have shared how much they enjoy the music playlists she creates and plays for them. Some love it so much they even enjoy getting up and dancing with her!
